Pastels, old wooden doors and vintage decor – riad Palacio de las Especias is one of the cutest little riads I have stayed in.
Located in Riad Laarouss, it is only a 5 minute walk to the souks and 10 minutes to Jemaa el Fna. I always like my riad to be near a taxi stand and easy to find – and this is definitely one of those riads. The staff is amazingly friendly and truly listens to your wishes. For example, I wanted to have breakfast near the pool (every day:p) and that’s exactly what we got. I also love how we didn’t get the exact same breakfast each day, they always added something different and tasty!
One of the things I fell in love with most, was our bathroom. The bathtub is EVERYTHING! Totally wished I could take it home with me lol. Because of the soft colors and pastels used in our room (and the complete riad) gives you an immediate feeling of relaxation and peace. Isn’t that what we all need after a productive day in Marrakech?
I definitely recommend riad Palacio de las Especias if you’re looking for a small, cozy and romantic place to enjoy Marrakech.
