Singing birds, surrounded by gardens and delicious food on the menu. Am I having lunch in Paradise or at Domaine de la Roseraie Resort & Spa?

I had to pinch myself at times, because this place is just so stunning! It was the perfect day to head to the Atlas Mountains. Because of the heat in Marrakech, we were lucky enough to cool off at Domaine de la Roseraie.

Besides the gorgeous, breathtaking gardens and view over the green Mountains, the lunch was extraordinary delicious. I loved how almost everything that is used in their dishes – such as the vegetables, spices – are naturally grown in their own garden. I even had a spicy nasturtium flower (capucine in French) in my salad (never ate a flower in my life) and it was super good.

After our starter, the salad, I picked out a yummy linguini with zucchini dish. Even though the salad and linguini were super good and filling, we still had some place left for a yummy lemon souffle dessert from Domain de La Roseraie’s orchards.

We enjoyed the sun, relaxed a bit and explored the beautiful gardens filled with the different flowers, plants and vegetables of Domaine de La Roseraie. Besides the gardens, the spa (La Roseraie spa Retreat) is a part of Domaine de la Roseraie as well as horse riding, treks and a bike center. Spend a week here and you certainly won’t get bored a bit!
