During my last visit to Marrakech, Comptoir Dinner was one of the nicest places I had dinner!

The moment I saw the menu card, I couldn’t pick. So many delicious dishes to pick from! After taking way too long, we made our decisions! For starters we had a beef carpaccio and a traditional mini chicken Pastilla, it was by far the yummiest pastilla I had in a long time. For our main courses we had The legendary weeping Tiger; grilled sliced filet of beef served with grand chef mashed potatoes & lemongrass sauce and the Shredded lamb with roasted vegetables.

Beside my Atay addiction, I am also very much addicted to cheesecake (almost a tradition to try out every cheesecake at every restaurant I go to), so of course I had to try out Comptoir Darna’s as well! The cheesecake was amazing! It was made from mountain honey and bourbon vanilla with salted butter and caramel ice cream. Uhm yes.. Amazing.

During our dinner Comptoir Darna’s traditional orchestra band covered all the great classical music, Andalusian Arab music and of course not forget the famous Moroccan music! After the live music, Comptoir Darna surprises their guests with an entertaining belly dance show. The perfect way to end an amazing dinner!
